Safety Tip of the Month: Prevent Winter Slips, Trips, and Falls

Winter weather can mean increased hazards in and around your assignment location. Use these tips to stay alert and safe:
Watch out for ice build-up on walkways and in parking lots, as well as water or partially melted snow on floors.
Wear appropriate footwear if you anticipate inclement weather. Use extra caution when walking. Look where you are going and have your hands ready to steady yourself should you slip.
